  1. I am trying to convert divx to VCD or SVCD, whatever. And everytime I select 29.97 fps it then says in the terminal that "FPS is 30000" and then my video runs faster.

I have tried using the qt decode, no avail
I have tried using the mplayer, it says that it cant find the ".conf" file.
I have tried using neither of them, still 30000!!!

    WTF!

The only time the at the FPS is ever right is when I do a VOB to "something." The VOBS are always fine, everything else is too fast. HELP!!!!!

  2. I get a similar result to you Bonkers! javascript:emoticon('')

I am trying to get from a NSTC VOB to PAL VCD but the video is like a rocket and the sound is fast as well. I also tried several divx avi's as well and tried to make them PAL VCD's but here the sound was great but the video was going way too fast.

I didn't change the video bitrate at the front even though, for the vob at lleast I wanted 3 CDS. The audio settings I didn't touch either. I did try disabling QT decode, no avail. Turned off bicubic scaling and VOB letterbox as well, no avail.

Major, I hope you are tuning in, we need some help here. I tried to send you a email direct about this but the mail bounced.

  3. Dude, i think i figured it out. I dont know why but if you click the 3:2 pulldown it works.

I tried a one minute test clip and everything seemed to be in order for that one minute. With out the 3:2 pulldown checked it would be out of sync within seconds.

    Goodluck.

  4. Nice try Bonkers but I still could get it to work. I tried to go from the NTSC VOB to PAL VCD, used the pull-down for 3:2 and go audio way off. Though the video seems fine and the audio was ok, just miles apart.

I tried the latest ffmpeg version g. Still no luck. any other suggestions??????
