  1. I've extracted music videos as .VOB files from various DVDs I own and I want to make a music video compilation.

What should I do to make either:

    a. a compilation without menu
    b. a compilation with menu, one chapter per .VOB file, of course

I tried IFO edit, but it keeps asking me for the original IFO. So I guess is that I need to CREATE IFO file instead of editing an IFO file.

    please help.

To create a dvd without a menu but with each song/video being a chapter.

Number your vobs in the order you wish them played eg VTS_1.0.vob VTS_1.1.vob etc.
Briefly run each vob file in turn in a software dvd player to get the vob durations, note these down.
Use vob edit to extract the complete video & audio streams.
Create a Celltimes.txt file in notepad with a listing of the accumulated times converted into frames (each sec=25 for PAL).
    Author in Ifoedit with the m2v, ac3 & celltimes.txt.
    Resize in dvd2one (if necessary).
    Burn with Nero, Prassi etc
Movie only DVD9 to DVDR guide.
