Hi,
I'm looking for a tool (freeware) that lets me combine still image and music (MP3) and output it as decent quality video (avi, mp4, or wmv).
I need this for showcasing my music in youtube. Just simple still image where my music plays in the background.
Is there any tools for this?
Thanks in advance!

For AVI, you can use Virtualdub. You can use the external encoder in Virtualdub 1.9.X-test27 to output to mp4, mkv and m2v.
Here is the link for Virtualdub 1.9.X-test27...

and a guide to use the external encoder...

DVD slideshow GUI can be used for this as well. If your target is Youtube you can export to mp4 in 720p or 1080p if you want a high quality video.
After you added you music and images, you can use the 'Match to Audio Duration' function. This way DSG will ajust the duration of the images to fit the duration of the audio. Right click in the Music listcontrol to open that menu.
Double clicking on a slide will let you hear and watch what part of the audio will be played over speciffic images.
Here's an example of a music-slideshow exported in 720p and uploaded to Youtube. Remember to switch to 720p playback.
