Apex HT-100W Region 1 svcd compatibilty problem...

Anyone have a NTSC (US) version of Apex HT-100W DVD/Surround System?
Does it play svcd movies at high quality?

mine plays them, but they are all blurry & sound/video is out of sync...anyone have a answer or solution?

But My apex ad1100w plays them great...

If anyone has this apex ht-100w region 1 player that plays svcd's perfect let me know...maybe mine is bad???
