Could anyone tell me why my xvid about a boy goes black when encoding after 57:22 , i have altered the environmental settings , & tried with separate audio . the file just encodes the audio after 57:22 , the xvid plays properley on media player. Any help would be appreciated

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. I was able to fix it with the environment setting. U didn't specify how you alter the settings. Can U be more specific.

Have you scanned the avi for bad frames?!?!
