    you need a special MPEG2 player for mpeg2 files... i suggest elecard MPEG2 player, it comes with a codec...

    maximus dvd will play when the dvd is in the dvd-drive,but not when its on my hard drive.
    powerdvd crashes most of the time.
    anyway elecard seams to work and i like the slideing bar.
