    When I use DVD2DVDR or DVDXCopy to make a backup copy, I put the backup in and my 16:9 TV no longer adjust itself anymore... I get black bars on the top and bottom just like non-16:9 TV's.

    Why? Can I fix this?

    So, the original plays full WS. But, the copy has bars.

    DVDXCOPY makes Xact copies so can't figure that...?


    You do know that NOT all WS movies take up the whole screen even on 16X9 TV's.

    I forget which is which but, action and sci-fi tend to still give little bars while comedy & drama's show full WS.
