I have ripped DVDs using DVD Decryptor and Smart Ripper and then used IfoEdit to strip out unwanted clips and also have it create new IFO files. I then use RecordNow Max 4.5 to record and these DVDs play in everything including XBOX.
Here's the problem, If I take the same VOB files and try to import them into Gear Pro DVD I get a load address error and will only load the VIDEO_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP files. It won't add the rest of the files and I can't burn my DVD.
Gear Pro requires everything to be 100% ok otherwise it won't let you burn so I think that there is something wrong with the IFO files that IfoEdit is creating. Even though I have burned the disks using other software. Gear Pro supposedly creates 100% compatible DVDs, that might be why Gear Pro won't work while others do as others are not 100% compatible.
When I don't create new IFO files, for example when an entire DVD will fit onto 1 DVDR, Gear Pro doesn't give me these errors so once again it is something with the way Ifoedit is creating the IFO files.
Is there another program I can use to create the IFO files for the main movie without authoring or is there an option in IfoEdit to fix this?
Any experienced suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
