Using Titanium powerbook G4 550Mhz & Powermac G4 867mhz Superdrive : Created mov files from Premiere(file played well all sycn) then encoded and Burned to vcd on toast titanium 5.2.
Tested on Home VCD player quality is poor and hiccup on sight and sound every 10 second or so. Very dissapointed on Toast. Please help on how to make playeble VCD.
Have tried playing on quicktime & Freevcd works fine.
Please specify any requirement or spec like frame size,
premiere compressor like whether to use Motion JpegA or DVpal format or any that is workable.
my Premiere mov is
Format: DV-PAL, 720x576, Millions
None, Stereo,44.1khz,16 bits
Movie FPS: 25
Data Size: 1038.9mb
Data Rate: 3.5MB/sec
Duration:00:04:48:15
Normal size: 720x576 pixels
Titanium powerbook G4 550Mhz built in Combo Drive-

Try using Window PC using adaptac deluxe 4 to burn VCD and it plays well on home vcd player. Is there a problem with toast or otherwise. Had posted this problem to toast but no good reply yet .
