  1. Ok I have tried to Rip my 1st DVD to DVD-r, the movie is xXx.

Problem 1. I tried using DVD X Copy and when I put the largest file in the other column it says that it needs 2 discs when I have heard it has easly been done w/ one.

Problem 2. I ripped the image using DVD decryptor and then burnt it and it plays perfectly untill like the 25th chapter and then it just stops and wont go on. I go to scene selection and all the scenes are their and this is just really frusterating me.

So basically can anyone tell me what exactly to do in DVD X Copy or what went wrong that it freezes after using DVD Decryptor.

(I am using a Phillips DVD+RW media that came with the burner) Thanks

  3. viperjay, your problem is a little too vague. If the question is why is your disk skipping, then the answer could be simple or more in depth. It probably has to do with burn speed though. Try to scan through those chapter points with your DVD ROM, if your ROM plays it smoothly, then it is your standalone player. If not, then it is either the media or the burning software you are using. What do you use to burn and at what speed? XXX was a simple movie to do and IFOEdit can handle that movie up with a little stripping. DVDXCOPY is garbage from what i've read, but if you like it...then that's on you. Just make sure you ONLY use it on movies you need to use it on. XXX uses a medium bitrate and the two hour or so movie is less then 4.3GB'S when you strip out extras, etc.
