  1. My PC is s P4, 1 gig mem, video card with 128 meg meg. 7200 rpm IDE Drive with 20 gig free. Use Pinnacle Stuido 8 and their capture card.

I want to purchase a DVD Burner. I know that no burner will produce DVD that will work on all DVD players. I have heard tha HP come close.

Can anyone tell me the best one that does the best at making DVD that will work on the most of Players.

    Thanks

  2. Not sure if it work on most players, but my Sony DRU-500A is very nice burner and it support + or - format. So if player doesn't play one you can still burn other.

  3. Just a quick note - if you burn a disk with your new drive, and it won't play on your player, try some different types of burning software. I went through Nero and DVD Decryptor, before I found PrimoDVD that would actually work with my player.

  5. Donpedro,
The company is called "Stomp" and the program is called RecordNowMax. You can do a search on this site and it's mentioned very favorably in several posts. If you buy it, it sells for like $40 at stompinc.com. I'm sure there are other methods of getting it, but I wouldn't know any of those.
