  1. Sorry, i'm sure you've been through this a thousand times... but... I have a divx file which isn't playing any audio, the picture is fine, just silence. Under file properties the audio format is unknown. I tired to play it in Virtual Dub but I get an error message regarding the audio decompression format. I have the 5.0.2 DivX codec, so what's missing? Any help much appreciated.

    Moonlight Odio "murdered" my machine playback when i tried it before... (sucked a HUGE amount of CPU time even to play standard VCDs). Are there any better MPG2 codecs?
    (right now i use the dvd player instead)

    Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!

    Moonlight Odio above is a AC3 codec, if you want a Mpeg 2 codec, and one that can be used in TMPGEnc use Ligos.
