Ive been searching and gathering info for a week now. I was thinking about the Daewoo DVG 6000. The Philips 724AT is not available in europe i think so that wont be an option.
i need a player wich plays (s)vcd/vcd/mp3/cd-r/cd-rw/dvd-r/dvd-rw/svcd-subs
Important things are
-It must be able 2 FF and REW (S)VCD good
-DVD-R and DVD-RW must be good playable
I believe the daewoo meets this requirements. Can someone confirm the 2 things above?
Thanks for helping me out.

I have a Daewoo DVG 9000, which is the same as DVG 6000 but mine has progressive. It definitely does not play DVD-RW. It plays DVD-R just fine. It is also very good playing both PAL and NTSC and will set the output automatically to suite your TV.
One problem though. Anytime the power is disconnected for a while, you'd have to turn it on and leave it without a disk in it for at least one hour. Then it will recognize a disk. Otherwise, it will malfunction.
