  1. Neon Genesis Evangelion (4 episodes)

First off its NTSC (BLAH) second its Anime (BLAH)!
I can rip it very easily. I tried force film and then TMPGenc with the source settings correct, and then tried so many different possibilities fot the ouput setting. I tried not force film and then tried IVTC, but it still jerky video. I got jerky video on every single try. Along time ago I used gordian knot to encode them to DivX. The Divx files are great, and when I tried converting them to SVCD, the MPEGS were great too. How come my DVD to Divx files succeded but my DVD to MPEGS failed? Also any help on how to make my DVD to MPEGS work, would be great. THANKS

  2. u ripping from a dvd right, do this.

    use smartripper,

on rip-method select movie, choose a pplace for the vobs,,
    ripp the movie over,,

this creates a d2v file to load into tmpg.

when i was using dvd2avi to save the project i got jerky trouble aswell, since i been using smartrippers d2v file everythings been fine,, try it!!

  11. When I opened up that D2V file that smartripper made, it said it was 25fps. Isn't that PAL? But the DVD plays in my NTSC PS2. I looked on the box and the DVD and it there was no symbol of a globe with the 1. Is it some universal DVD? It's Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol 2.

  12. I would rip with DVD Decrypter. Then use DVD2AVI with Forced Film Checked. Then encode the video and audio seperate, then multiplex the audio and video together. When you are making a SVCD, load the "SVCD Film" Template, then load the unlock template, and switch the output to "ES (Video only)". Encode. Then run your .m2v through pulldown.exe to telecine it back to 29.97fps. Encode your audio with Toolame. and them mux them together.

    That should help.
