    I was wondering if anybody has purchased a DVD/CD-RW combo drive.

    I only have one slot, which is currently being home to my burner, and was looking for a drive that i can still write CD's(or VCD's, svcds, etc) with but also to be able to rip dvd's for backup.

    Does anybody know of any good ones?

    I've got a Samsung SM-332B that's excellent.

    It's 32x CD-R and 10x CD-RW and (I think) 10x DVD

    Got it for under $100 with a rebate a few months ago.
