When I frameserve with dvd2svcd to cinema craft encoder, it goes extremely fast, but there is always an erro in the encoding part (not the vaf part) a common one is a video checksum error. My most recent one just had a bunch of letter and numbers I couldn't understand.

Always read the documentation that comes with the programs you use. This is probably the most frequently asked question regarding DVD2SVCD. This error is caused by a hardware limitation. The problem is solved by installing a patch which disables the checksum checks. You can get the patch in the DVD2SVCD FAQ, which is located in the www.doom9.net forums.
