My player (a Panasonic RV21) doesn't support svcd's. I have a few svcd's I want to burn so I tried the header trick. Everything went fine but when I try to burn it in Nero it say's "Need MPEG1 which is encoded for Video-Cd:

audio 44.1kHz;stereo; 224KBit/s
video: 352x340/29.97Hz or 352x240/23.976Hz or 352x288/25Hz

The following problems were found:

-Stream encoding which is ivalid for a (Super) Video-CD
-Invalid video stream: 29.97 frames/second, 480x480 pixels

You are creating a Video Cd V2.0 (Cd i-player) complient cd, but the MPEG file is not suitable for such a disc? How would you like to proceed?"

I have the necessaryplugin for Nero so I let it reencode the file but when I play it in my standalone the movie plays but its full of a bunch of coloured squares and the audio has alot of high pitch beeping. The normal audio is still playing in the backround but it's hardly watchable. What happened to this? Was it because Nero reencoded the file?
