VCD WONT PLAY ON NEW DVD PLAYER why?

im new to the to the scene and need help(please)

i have two players the one im having trouble with is the medion 4310
it wont play vcds but when i checked compatability it should i think, also i tried region hack but nothing it only plays dvd my other recorder plays my vcd so no problem there, tried cd-r cdr/w
help would be appreciated!

Ok, give me the following info:
1: What are you using to rip/encode/burn
2: What are the exact specifications for the vcd you are creating (like video bitrate, audio bitrate, interlaced/progressive, etc.)
3: What are you doing/using for the region hack

Oh, and if you rip it with smartripper, it will automatically remove the region code so you dont need the hack.

1. Smartripper> DVD2AVI, tmpgenc & nero , ive also used nero vision exspress

2. i use the wizard tmpgenc,
VCD PAL MPEG 1
vidio source-non interlace-16.9 display
movie info says 352-288 25fps/layer 244100 Hz stereo

vidio cbr 1150
audio 224

i wont need the hack then.
