    I have a DVD recorder that i use to record TV shows. It is a DVD-R-RW compatible recorder. I record using DVD-Rs. The discs that i burn will only work on my dvd recorder. I cannot even get my computer to recognize that there is information on the disc. Any ideas?

    Did you finalize the disk using your DVD recorder?

    Search in the DVD recorder menus and look for the Finalize command. This will prepare the DVD to be played on other DVD players and to be read by computer drives. Look in your manual for further info.

    List what recorder is it & we can say. But its easier to just look for what to do in your manual.
