I've downloaded tons of high quality music videos from Usenet that are in the m2v format. I've read here that m2v are video only with no sound, yet the m2v files play fine in WinDVD with both audio and video. BUT every burning software I've tried gives me a SVCD with only the video...NO sound. I've searched this site...the web...and dejanews.com for a solution. No luck. Can anyone help?
Your ideas are much appreciated!
Thank you so much

Just rename the downloaded file extension (.m2v) to .mpg and see if that helps.

Try demuxing you "m2v" Tmpeg's Mpeg Tools. If you audio wnen you played on software player there has to be an elementry audio stream.

OK...that helped...there is sound now, but the video image is not as good as it was before using Tmpeg. Can I improve that?
