HI, I dont know it it is possible to this:
I have a 10 GB sized video and it is taking up almost all my Hardisk...
I want to do some cropping, resize, filtering... SAVE IT (over the same file). And then compress it with 2 pass xVid.
If I dont do it that way I have to do the filtering 2 times, one for xVid pass...
Thanks

Your wasting your time. You don't need to save it. Do all your filters, then do the XviD. When you do the '2 Pass-1st Pass' in xvid, it will only make a tiny file, not a true avi. Then when you do the 2nd pass, you will get the real avi. You can keep re-doing 2nd passes until you get it just right(make sure your stats file has a unique name). Saving the file after setting up your filters doesn't really help you. Especially since you have to choose the ouput format.....huffyuv or rgb to not introduce losses.

I think I dont have explained the problem well
I have a 10 GB partition.
I have a 9'5 AVI compressed with huf on it.
I want to do some filtering to the original file, then go to xvid.
But the file has to be the same on the two passes, so, or I find a way to do filtering and saving the edited movie OVER the old (cause I dont have space to do it in another way), or I have to do filtering for the first pass, an for the second...
Thanks anyway for replying
