I've followed the guide on this site to create vcd's on a dvd - I use Tmpeg and ssrc to get the audio stream to 48000 hz - ulead will not recognize the .m1v file so I multiplex the new .mpa stream with the .m1v video in tmpeg and when i watch the clip on the computer everything seems to be in sync. I use ulead dvd movie factory 2.0 to author the dvd - now after burning it and playing it in my player it works fine as long as i dont ff or rewind the clip i'm watching - once that happens the audio goes out of sync but if i watch it straight thru or skip chapters, the audio stays in sync with no problem. Are there any fixes to this or is this a common problem with vcd's on a dvd because I have vcd's and svcd's (on cd's not on dvd's) that I have watched on my player and have been able to scan up and down the disc without the audio going out of sync.
