  1. I want to change my DivX files into VCD files. However I am able to split the file with Virtualdub and put on a cd with Nero 5.5. This is no problem and the VCD is working fine in my DVD-player. But there is one problem: the size of te screen. I have a normal 4:3 Pal television, but the screen size os teh VCD is 16:9 without a black window. This is givin' a very strange screen. So how do I fix that?

I have tried using TMPGE, however in this program I can choose to get a black window but when I put in a 300MB DivX file and let it convert to VCD, the VCD file size is around 1GB, anyone who can solve this?

In TMPGEnc if you click settings you can select the aspect ratio. Change it from 16:9 to 4:3.

Also, the large filesize for VCD is normal. VCD filesizes are always much larger than DivX files.

I know but when I write down a 300mb file with Nero the size of the file doesn't become that large.
