I have been using a video for windows setup to capture and time shift TV programs for a little over a year. The setup has worked okay, but I would like to capture in MPEGI/II so I can burn things I would like to save to CD or later on DVD without having to re-encode MPEG4 to MPEGI/II later.
I have tried Power VCRII and the quality I get from my 700mhz processor is no where near the quality of my MPEG4 captures.
I am wondering if anyone has used both the PVR250 and the Power VCR program and can tell me if the quality of the PVR250 is considerably better than Power VCR or not.
Thanks for any help.
