  1. Hi,

    XP Home (No SP's installed)
    Hauppauge WinTV PCI-FM
VirtualDub 1.4.13 (Pentium 4 optimised version)

Previously capturing perfectly fine, but however can now only capture in mono. The sound is in stereo when using the Hauppauge Tuner software, but the minute I switch to capture mode in Virtualdub , the sound switches to mono. This is before I actually start capturing and is not related to my audio capture settings - as far as I can tell. The actual capture is in mono as well.

When using the inbuilt capture option in the Hauppauge software, the sound does remain in stereo, but I'd much rather use VirtualDub to keep a track of dropped frames, etc.

I have installed Visual Basic.NET recently, and can't honestly say if it has worked properly since then. It would appear VB has modified something, but I'm at a loss as to what.

    Anyway, Any ideas?

Any and all replies greatly appreciated

    Steven

I trashed that cap program and downloaded the driver at btwincap.sourceforge.net and use virtualdub and virtual vcr. Hopefully you won't have many dropped frames......
