    Hi, I have been thinking about buying a dvd burner but first I have to ask a question. I have quite alot divx movies and what I wonder is how long it would take to convert lets say a 700mb divx movie to DVD-R?

    On my machine (see specs above) TMPGenc stated that using the bitrate calculated to fill a DVD-R (3100 or so) the encode time was 3-3.5 hours using full screen (keep aspect ratio). for a 700mb or so divx (a long movie I "fail to recall" the title).

    Your results will vary depoending on configuration, antivirus, and phase of pluto in relation to Alpha Centari.
