Hello,
I'm having some difficulties with V-Dub. I captured 30 minutes of video footage with my Hauppauge Win-TV Go card, Virtual VCR (with the Sound Forge WDM drivers) and at 720x480 resolution and 48khz audio. I use the UYUV codec and re-compress with Huff 1.3. I used Virtual Dub to break the footage into five seperate six gigabyte files. When I load them into Ulead VS 5.0 for MPEG 2 encoding, I only get 4 minutes and 20 secs per file.
I captured 30 mintes of footage again using the same settings without trimming in V-Dub and VS 5.0 loaded the entire 30 minute file. I prefer trimming in V-Dub since it is much faster than using VS 5.0. I tried converting this footage into 24 bit RGB so I can load it into Quicktime 6.0 (and using V-dub to trim the footage); stilll no luck. Can anyone help me out?
My PC specs are in my profile.
Thanks,
Cifcap
