Sorry if this has already been brought up -- I looked through existing threads but didn't see it already here.

I am attempting to convert a single AVI (101 min playtime) to SVCD (2 CD's) so I can watch it on my player.

Using the guides here (which are excellent BTW) I managed to correct an audio sync issue with VD by extracting it and rejoining it to the video. I also managed to successfully split the AVI into 2 (approx 50 min each) so they could be burned to CD-R. The Audio sync was maintained and all seems OK.

MY PROBLEM occurred when trying to convert either of the AVI's I created to MPG2 with TMPGEnc 2.59. I extracted the WAV, and loaded it into TMPGEnc as the audio file. I followed the guides on this site and all seems to be alright.................

EXCEPT that the finished MPEG2 is a vertically flipped, mirror-image of the AVI (mirrored AND upside-down)

I tried the first half of the movie twice, and the last half once (about 45 min. per attempt) with the same result each time.

The movie is XviD AVI that had VBR sound. I fixed the sound sync issue.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. I am new at this -- but not a total n00b :P ........ but I cannot see what Im doing wrong.

EDIT -- OK, nevermind. I imaged them anyways with VCDEasy and burned them and they play fine on my player (but are still backwards viewed on my pc).
