Hi, anyone know the best way to go about ripping anime dvds with the Japanese language track and subtitles intact. Being able to have the English track would be a plus but isn't completely necessary. I'd also like to have the menus. If anyone can point me in the right direction or whatever...Thanks!

There are probably some of each, I have about 50 anime dvds I'd like to back-up. How do you tell if they are DVD-5 or DVD-9??? I looked on the discs and couldn't figure it out. I'm a total newbie!

Put them in your DVD drive and look at its properties, if its under 4.37 GB you can make an ISO in DVDDecryptor and but an exact duplicate, if its over(meaning you have a DVD9) you have to use another method, which im still trying to figure which will be best, currently want to backup my Cowboy Bebop Boxset, but the first 2 discs are DVD9, the other 4 are DVD5. Dont know why they went that route.

I have that set too. I think there are 5 episodes on each of the first two discs and 4 episodes on each of the rest, so that's probably why.
