  1. Alright, does anyone know of a good program that will let you multiplex and cut files with the .mpg extension? I tried BBMpeg, but it doesn't accept .mpg video files. When I try to use TMPGEnc, it always freezes. So.... What should I use to multiplex and cut?

  2. for TMPG, increase your virtual memory, and when you go to the edit screen where it previews, hit the play button right away. once it starts it will finish, even if windows says it's "not responding". at some point the target file will no longer grow, at that point you can kill TMPG and you're done.

  3. for BBMpeg you have to demultiplex your mpg first.
(if your mpg containes only video stream, try to rename it to m2v; TMPGEnc creates video-only mpg when you select System Video Only for output)
then, load the video and audio separately.
    it'll work...
