    Hey folks,

I'm having some issues with multiplexing. I'm trying to mux an h264 video track with an aac audio track into an mp4/m4v container. Sync and length is perfect when played back in VLC, but as soon as I load it in iTunes/Quicktime, the video track suddenly goes for anywhere between 4-6 hours. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's bugging the *BLEEP* out of me.

    Cheers

Edit: Just a bit more info it's doubling the length of the video on playback with quicktime, but the audio track finishes where it should.

Have you tried multiplex with mp4box or a gui for it like mymp4boxgui or yamb ?

thanks for the quick reply, when I try it with YAMB, Quicktime doesn't play the video track though VLC does, and mymp4boxgui the audio keeps going out of sync with the video?

How did you make the h264 and aac? Demuxed from another source?
Does the mp4muxer file preview list correct length for the h264 track?

Yes, they were demuxed from an MKV container using MKVToolnix and MKVExtractGUI. Ah, the video track is 8012.887 seconds long, whereas the audio is 8013.930 seconds? Any suggestions on how to resync these? They play fine in the mkv container...
