  1. I used OSEx 0.0101b with DVDSP. When i run OSEx and Seg is set to Title, everything works, but I do not have chapters, so when I watch the dvd, if I want to fast forward, it's kind of like having a really nice VHS tape. The problem that I am running into is when I select Chapters as my segments, I get exactly what I want... m2v video chaters and ac3 sound chapters files. But when I try to bring in more than one ac3 file to DVD Studio Pro, it doesn't let me bring in more than one ac3 file, and my first m2v file just keeps looping in the first second of the video. Can someone tell me what I should do if i want to get chapters and keep the surround sound? Thanks.

  2. Here is the answer to my question. Does anyone know a better way to do this? Is there a fix. This worked, but it just took a long time. I want to be able to browse through chapters by clicking next or previous on the remote... http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128387

just set new chapter markers when you import into dvd studio pro, i mean its a pain in the butt, but if you have a dvd too large to fit on a consumer disc, w/o havin a program like ifoedit you don't have many options. And PLUS if you drop all the seperate files into dvd studio pro and save it EVEN with no pause u will still have a .25 second pause regardless-- there is NO way around it. So just save as m2v and ac3 and set the chapter markers manually. the ifo and bup files are the files (from what i understand) that contain the chapter marker information NOT the vob or m2v file (could be wrong on that) but either way till the ifoedit port is finished. you will have to set chapter markers manually. Now i havent used it yet, but sizzle also lets you input multiple m2v and mp2 files (gotta convert the ac3 to mp2) and i dont know if they will work without having a pause either-- i think its a hardware problem not a software one.. basically without a crapload of work the only effective way is manual markers in dvd studio pro.-- running through mpeg append or bits (slllllowwwwww) would be effective in fixing the timecode only (which is a good idea) but they will NOT give you chapter markers back.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.
