i am using xp pro and have backed up several dvds without any problems or issues however. Dvd maestro is causing one major problem with my pc, when the program is installed i can not shut down the computer. This in turn is causing system wide problems.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I thought DVD maestro could only be used on windows NT, although I may be wrong.

I've heard of other people using it on XP, but you can't run the Cinemaster 2000 needed for realtime preview.

That is a very odd problem and Maestro does work fine on XP (NT based).
Also you can install another DVD player pack and get realtime preview on XP (forgot the name, someone mentioned it on these forums not too long ago).
As far as you not being able to shut down, very odd and I'm sorry I can not help. -
Thanks for your response
I have made some enquiries, it would appear that i am using version 2.11.15.0, could this be relevent. If so can any one recommend a location where i can obtain an upgrade.Regards

Maestro is no longer available and a place to download any version is not available (unless you know someone who has it or you are very resourceful).

Can any one recommend a substitute programRegards
