  1. WHen I try to open a certian movie(DVD Rip), I get this error message

"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DX50' (unknown)

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable."

Where would I find such a codec, and howcome I need it for this particular movie ?

Download the DivX 5.0.2 codec at http://divx.com/ and see it that solves your problem. You get also download KJ's Codec Package or Nimo's Codec Package as they come with codecs that will meet all your needs.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
