    HI
    I don't know what happened but I cannot open some video files in my VirtualDub. Before I opened them without any problems but now I cannot. I'm getting message: Syntax error at line 1888
    What can I do to solve this problem and what is it?

    what kind of video file? use mediainfo (view=>text) if you don't know

    install the appropriate vfw decoder as indicated by mediainfo

    you can also try the directshow vdub plugin to open up non AVI container files
