  1. i use videowave 4 and when i convert from .avi to vcd, the video is fine but when the audio plays back, it "chirps" every couple minutes. this happens on the pc and when i put it in my dvd player. am i doing something wrong when i convert?

  2. Sometimes when you hear "chirping" its a bad frame audio problem.
Is the problem evident in the original AVI?
    or
    Only after encoding?

I would have to agree with wee haggis. I never had much success when I used VideoWave in the past. TMPGEnc is definately the best option.
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack

  7. ok i found the TMPEng but i'm having a few problems with it. i separated the audio and thats taken care of, but i can't figure out how to make a fullscreen movie into a widescreen one, i read through here and i saw to do the opposite but i want to make do it the other way. one last prob, when i do convert the mpeg vcd version has a line on the top left corner of the screen, any idea what may cause this or how to fix it? thank you for all your help
