    I have tried to burn a DVD on a CD-RW/CD-R using ULEAD MediaStudio. The CD (with the VOB-files) works fine on my PC but my DVD-Player (Yamaha DVD510 - Firmware 7.26) does not play it. Is the player unable to recognize DVD contents on a CD media?

    What you have created is miniDVD, very few standalone players are capable of playing this format. Check the DVD players compatability list
