  1. why does DVD Decryptor say:

    C:\ will not allow file > 4GB
    D:\ " " "
    E:\ " " "

my 60 gig HD is partitioned into these 3 FAT32 partitions, and i'm ripping to my D:\ drive, whihc has 14 GB free...why does it say then, when i start DVD Decryptor up, that it won't allow any file greater than 4 GB?

and I started ripping one movie, and it got to 81%, and then froze...any idea?

also, when it started up, it said: Found 1x DVD-ROM and 1x DVD-RW...i know my DVD-RW is 4x, but i'm not sure about the ROM, at least 4-6x i think...so why does it only state 1x?

    thanks.

Fat 32 only supports upto 4GB files,no larger. The 1x means one drive found,it's not a reference to the drives speed. Over 4GB files is supported by WinXP.

  5. and if I do reformat one partition to NTFS, but leave the partition that Win2k runs on as NTFS, can I read the NTFS files?

and if on a network, I am using a WinME laptop, and trying to access a shared NTFS drive, can I send and receive files from the NTFS drive?

    thanks again
