I paid the $5 to use http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/ but I still cannot seem to get it right
I can rip the DVD9 just fine. The problem comes in using ifoedit to split the dvd and then the subsequent editing steps. Is there a guide that clearly describes how to do this?

I have used Doom9 guides and it works. Just use the IFO edit 0.89 and above which is free.

Good luck. -
Using the guide that is listed how do I tell which VOBS to keep. I think it is after you strip it (in IFOedit) that you get a screen that has little flags on it that normally has two check marks, then you strip it and BAM!!! I get a screen with like 32 VOBS..... which ones do I check to get the movie and sound??? I am lost.... someone please help.
Thanks

Basically it is taken from the Doom9 guide: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-2dvdrs.htm but it goes into more detail in a couple critical spots. The Doom9 guide has a couple images from IfoEdit which are very helpful.
I hope this helps! -
specifically which editing sequences are you having difficulties with? editing chapters?

Hey you can usually see which vobs to use by the sequence sizes, look for the largest sequence of vobs, other that this you can open the vobs in a dvd plyer that supports opening dvd's from files or folders. i use dvdpro xp player and double click on the vob's to see which contain the flix
