I have the same problem with DVD2SVCD. The guide here at http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/98376.php states to get V1.0.9 build 3 from the Doom 9 forum. The Doom 9 forum now points to a place to get V1.1.0 build 1. The frameserver tab no longer has the Resize to pulldown menu as the guide shows instead it has a Parameters Value, and again, no CVD option.

I was able to find/download V1.0.9 build 3 from www.dvd2svcd.org. When I installed it the same thing happened. Any ideas? I really would prefer to use CVD format.

There is another similar guide at: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2svcd_guide.cfm, and in the "SVCD or CVD?" section it shows you can easily create CVD's with DVD2SVCD. It states "Go to the Frameserver -tab and use the Resize to -pulldown menu to choose a format of your liking."

I tried both versions on two different systems (a Windows XP Pro (SP1) system and also a Windows 2000 Pro (SP3) system) and I still do not have the field shown in the guides.

Since the VCDHelp guide mentions the Doom 9 forum I really wanted to post this there but they will not allow you to post until at least 5 days after you register, and I just registered.

  3. Its there,

just that you need to read the instructions before asking

FIRST GO TO THE MISC TAB AND SELECT DVD2SVCD LEVEL: ADVANCED.

the very first instruction on the guide, with out it being set to advanced the CVD option is not available.

Take care and remember double check always

    ciao
