  1. I encoded Spider-Man and the file size is 3.5, what can I do with that extra space? Add some extras or a menu or something? And how would I go about doing that?

  2. if i was you i would try to fill the disc with the film by encoding it a lot bigger than 3.5.

the bigger the better for qaulity pictures.

  5. Hmm. I ripped Spider man without encoding. If you remove other audio and title. You will get just below than 4.3 Gb so you will not lose any quality. I used Ifoedit.

No need to encode Spider-Man. Just do the following:

    1. Smartripper or DVD Decrytper
    2. IfoEdit - VOB EXTRAS to strip off everything except ENGLISH and Dolby Audio.
    3. Exit IfoEdit
    4. IfoEdit and GET VTS_SECTOR to align everything.
    5. burn NERO

There are plenty of GUIDES on this site to give the details.

Spider-Man starts off at 5.5GB's. After doing the above process you end up with 4.3GB's which fits on 1 DVDr. I have done this!
