  1. Hi, I have an enhanced cd which contains 2 audio tracks and a video.

    All is Ok,

but there is also 2 other folders: CDPLUS and PICTURES.

In the PICTURES folder there is several files:
    JACKET01.00A
    JACKET01.00J
    JACKET01.00L
    JACKET01.00P
    JACKET02.00A
    JACKET02.00J
    JACKET02.00L
    JACKET02.00P

What's the purpose of these files, does they contain some pictures or other hidden stuff ?????

    Thanks.

They are probably pictures. Check their size. Unless it's zero, there should be something there.

  3. Yes, they are between 70kb and 200 kb but I can't open them with an image editor.

I haven't ran into a extended CD in quite a while, so I have no idea why those extensions are used. Can you copy the 'JACKET' files to the computer and change the extension to something more common like .JPG? Or on the disc, select a program like Windows Photo Gallery or Paint, when it says it doesn't have a program to open them?

Or maybe someone here has a better idea what those files really are. I just assume they are the CD jacket graphics. But I don't know if they are for a player display or for computer display.
