playing dvd's

I have backep up a dvd using osex and studio pro. when i play the dvd on my player it does not work. I asked a friend to try his player and the disk worked fine. Do i need to alter my settings when i rip the file. Burning in toast titanium 5.2 on an imac superdrive with mac os x 10.1.5.

Look up your player's info from the section on DVD players to the left. You could have:

a player that doesn't like DVD-R
a player that doesn't like DVD-RW
a player that doesn't like that high of a bitrate
a problem with the authoring of the DVD (make sure a startup action is set)
