Nothing to do with video I suppose, well, maybe if you downloading covers.

The last few days, using Internet Explorer or AOL, when I right-click and Save As a .jpg file, it saves as .jpg, but will not open in any viewer. If I change extension to .art, I can open it in Internet explorer, then re-save as a bitmap, then use PSP7 to convert it to a .jpg. Takes me a long time to down a cover and print it this way. Why has this started to happen all of a sudden. Have I clicked a setting somewhere without realising?

    Incidentally, I am using XP!

  4. Dont know whether this is applicable to WinXP but have you tried:
    Under any folder go to
View(up the top) >>> Folder Options >>> File Types Tab

Then browse down till you find the JPEG and JPG file types and delete them. After that go to a .jpg(or .jpeg) file on your computer then when you click it should say choose a program to open the file with select Internet Explorer (or whatever program you want to use) and everything should be alright
