Just wondering when burning, anyone out there burn onto cd-rw? will this playback on standalone dvd players?

Check the dvd player list...and you will see that more players support cd-rw than cd-r.

really? i thought it would be the other way around...cd-r over cd-rw?
what do they mean by blue layer? silver layer? green layer?
(color of layer under the cd?)
