Ok i have ran things through tmpgenc before and it hasn't taken this long. I am converting a 300,000kb divix through tmpgenc and it was at first goin at a good pace and said 1 hour left but now after playin Warcraft online it says it is 8 hours left even after closing warcraft so does anyone know whats going on?

yea, you played a game while it was encoding. Encoding takes 100% of the cpu time. Anything that interupts it can stall the encode.

Ok thats what i thought thanks, and another question: Can I pause the encoding and come back to it later at the same spot instead of starting back over?

300,000kb = 300 GB - that would take a long time indeed.
