    Hi, I’ve been trying to convert my 23.976 avi files to svcd in tmpgenc with ur conversion guide works on my pc everything seems ok til I try to burn it and nero comes up with a message about being an invalid svcd stream, I’ve also tried the doom9 method both with the same results, I turned off compliance it doesn’t play on my dvd player am I missing something

  4. Please forgive me if i misunderstood you but that guide is for converting FRAMERATE not encoding to SVCD, did you try to burn your AVI as SVCD with Nero? If you did - that's your problem. AVI has to be encoded to Mpeg2 for SVCD and there's a different guide to follow to accomplish that.

    wasn't very clear sorry i've used the guide to serve my 23fps file to 25 and encoded it in tmpgenc with the svcd template when i try to burn the file it gives the above error it does this with and without the audio also with the same results in doom9's guide

    try unchecking the "create standard compliant disc" option and burning
    or(a better method), use VCDeasy to create an image, and then burn the image w/Nero
    what are you askin' me for...
