  1. I have dvd studio pro 1.5, OSEX Extractor. I need some help? I used OSEX to import movie, it leaves a m2v file and a ac3. I the drop these files into a new track. This is as far as i get. I see that the size of the movie and audio adds up to 6.34 (lord of the rings). How do I get this down to fir on one dvd-r 4.3gb. Have not used dvd sp before so need a step by step instruction? Thanks

  2. Don't have the manual that comes with DVDSP? Is this a "evaluation copy" of DVDSP?

Here's a manual I turned up using a Google search:

As for the movie size, 99.9% of the DVD movies out there are going to be bigger than 4.3GB You are going to have to split it into chunks. Instead of extracting the whole movie in OSEx you can extract by chapters and do half the movie at a time. I have heard that this can lead to audio and video getting out of sync. I'm told that ripping by scenes solves this, but OSEx can't rip by scenes. DVDExtractor can, but you'll have to boot OS9 to run it. OR you can re-encode the movie at a lower bit rate to reduce the size. Here's a site with a guide. Just click on your OS:
