  1. Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I came here on good advice I got from www.dslreports.com. Before I ask my question I want to thank Baldrick for this guide:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=78179

It did answer quite a lot of questions. However I am still wondering about a few things...

    1. Is it possible to simply take VCD ready mpgs and burn them to a DVD? Or rather, will I have to re-encode them, video and audio?

    2. I did have some questions about making chapters and link and such, but Baldrick's guide for Sonic DVDIt more than covers it. Is this kind of chapter creation/manipulation available for Nero?

    Thanks for any help.

DVD require 48000 audio sampleing rate,VCD is 44100,so you'l probably need to resample the audio with Tmpeg. The standard VCD resolution of 352x240 is supported by DVD so you shouldn't need to re-encode the video. I believe that DVD will except 352x240,352x480,704x480,and 720x480 only.
