Ok...for the past week I have been trying to convert some of the DVD's I own to MPEG4 so I could play them through quicktime. Everything works fine, I rip off the elem steams, and get seperate MPEG2 video and convert the AC3 file to an Aiff. Then I open the 1.30 GB Video file, open the audio, copy the audio and tell quicktime to "add" (i have also tried "add scaled")
but the audio is way off. It may match up perfectly in the beginning of the video and then become a little off in the middle, then way off in the end. I reopen both files and check the length...the audio is 12 secs shorter than the video! Anyone have any idea what the heck is going on or how to fix it.

Note: There is no missing audio in the file yet some how it is shorter in length. The video is 12 secs longer than the Aiff. and seems to play at normal speed yet it's faster than the audio.
